New! dd’s DISCOUNTS and First Book
Launch a Literacy Fundraiser
First Book is pleased to announce an in-store donation drive with dd’s DISCOUNTS in support of literacy efforts. Between August 14 and September 7, 20010, customers can make a donation at the point of sale at dd’s DISCOUNTS 51 store locations throughout California, Texas, Arizona and Florida. Each donation of $2.00 will provide a brand new book to a child in the local community, and dd’s DISCOUNTS will match donations, up to $25,000. All funds raised will go directly to purchase new books in support of youth development programs located in dd’s DISCOUNTS communities.
